Black Unicorn Tour - The Orpheum. Ybor, FL

The Black Unicorn Tour was an interesting night. The night started off with
Classic Case opening the show. For a band that doesn’t scream they are still
really heavy. They have a lot of melody and catchy hooks, yet they still had    some pretty nice breakdowns. They were a good opening band. They caught
the crowds attention and put some energy into the crowd.

At this point, we start to notice that it is rather warm in the venue but we ignore
it and continue with our night. Showbread took the stage second and I could not
get into them. The best thing about Showbread is that they have a keytar player.
For those of you who don’t know that that is, it is a keyboard, but you play it like
your holding a guitar. It’s pretty sweet. He also had a pretty rad mullet. There were way too many guys on such a small stage. They had no room to move and it
was rather boring.

Now it is starting to get annoying how warm it is in there. At this point we were
notified that the air conditioner was broken. Go figure. The Fall of Troy were
in the direct support slot on this show. Yet again they delivered a great performance. The show they put on is absolutely nuts. Again they had some
technical difficulties but it wasn’t nearly as bad as the one at the Poison the Well
show. We were not able to catch up with them after the show, so expect an email
interview to be posted soon.

By now sweat is just dripping off of everyone. Of course this is something He is Legend is accustomed to. Those guys are haggard. After seeing them at Bamboozle I knew what to expect performance wise but not audio wise as the sound was terrible on their stage at Bamboozle. They sounded great. They played a few new songs, including “China White Pt. 2”. Check our videos for it. Overall they have a high energy, intense show.
